Sacred Valley Tour

This Sacred Valley tour as well as the City tour is also offered as free tour when you book a jungle tour with us. Conditions apply.

We leave Cusco in the morning for our tour to the Sacred Valley. The first place to visit is the town of Pisac. First we go up the mountain to visit the Inca site that was built here. With military, religious, and agricultural structures, the site served at least a triple purpose. Researchers believe that Písac defended the southern entrance to the Sacred Valley. We also have great views over the terraces that are still used for agriculture nowadays.

After visiting the Inca Site we have time to see the colorful market of Pisac where you have the opportunity to shop for handmade arts and crafts.

Leaving Pisac we head to Urubamba where we stop for lunch in one of the nice restaurants we find here (lunch is included in the price).

After lunch we continue the tour to the ancient village of Ollantaytambo. We visit the fortress in the hills of the Andes. It contains a Temple of the Sun, Royal Hall and Princess Baths. The village of Ollantaytambo is also worth a visit with its narrow streets with water channels.

The last place we visit during the Sacred Valley tour is Chinchero. The Inca Site here we visit remains of what was a royal hacienda. We also visit the colonial temple of this village.

From Chinchero we make our way back to Cusco where we will arrive around 7 pm.
