This tour visits the Huacarpay, the first part of Manu road as well as Tambomachay, this tour is good to get acclimatize to the Andes.

Tour Itinerary

This day tour will include the visit to Huacarpay Lake and Tambomachay archeological site, in this day tour you will be able to observe 4 endemic species among other beautiful regular birds.
The 4 endemic species you can find in this day tour are:

  • Rusty-fronted canastero
  • Creamy-crested spinetail
  • Bearded mountaineer
  • Chestnut-breasted mountain finch

Besides the species mentioned above you also will be able to observe Streaked fronted Thornbird, Cimnamon teal, Plumbeous Rail, Puna teal, Giant Hummingbird, Many-coloured rush tyrant, etc. with luck you will also might observe “Bobolink” and “Blue-winged teal”, these two species are new for the area of Huacarpay
