Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up at Airport in Sao Paulo

Today we will pick you up at the airport in Sao Paulo and then drive you to your hotel near the Airport so we can take our flight to Cuiabá the next day.

Day 2: Sao Paulo – Cuiabá - Pantanal (Land Photo-Safari and night safari)

Today we will head towards Cuiabá and from there we will head to Piuval lodge, we drive 100 km to Pocone the last town, then enter the transpantaneira highway, we continue our drive 7 km to Piuval lodge, arrived at the lodge for lunch, in the afternoon start the activities with a safari by car will look for tapir, birds and may be the first jaguar, return to the lodge for dinner and the safari continue after dinner, accommodation in these lodge.

Day 3: Piuval lodge

Full day at Piuval lodge (safari before sunrise, safari after breakfast, safari after luch, safari at night) (all safaris by car)

Day 4: Piuval lodge – Pouso Alegre

Early safari before breakfast searching for anteater, birds; return for breakfast. Leave the Piuval lodge after breakfast and drive 26 kms in the Trasnpantaneira looking more fauna like caiman, capibaras and bird, we arrive to Pouso Alegre lodge for lunch, after lunch we do safari near the lodge looking for some mammals like coatis, deers, tapir.

Day 5: Pouso Alegre - Jaguar Lodge

Before breakfast go to the fetter for birds, breakfast at 7:30 am and after we do a walk near the lodge, return for lunch, after lunch we continue our drive further 90 kms to the other lodge, in the way you can see deers, caimans, tapir, birds. We arrive the third lodge in the afternoon and walk near the lodge searching for the hyacinth macaw and other birds. Dinner and accommodation in the lodge.

Day 6: Jaguar Lodge - Pantanal (Porte Jofre) – Jaguar Lodge

Breakfast early morning, we leave the lodge and drive 40 kms and arrive to Porto Jofre to search jaguar and otters by boat the full day (lunch on the boat), we return to the lodge in the afternoon by car and we can see some anacondas on the road. Dinner and accommodation in the lodge.

Day 7: Jaguar Lodge - Pantanal (Porte Jofre) – Jaguar Lodge

Breakfast early morning, we leave the lodge and drive 40 kms and arrive to Porto Jofre to search jaguar and otters by boat the full day (lunch on the boat), we return to the lodge in the afternoon by car and we can see some anacondas on the road. Dinner and accommodation in the lodge.

Day 8: Jaguar Lodge - Pantanal (Porte Jofre) – Jaguar Lodge

Breakfast early morning, we leave the lodge and drive 40 kms and arrive to Porto Jofre to search jaguar and otters by boat the full day (lunch on the boat), we return to the lodge in the afternoon by car and we can see some anacondas on the road. Dinner and accommodation in the lodge.

Day 9: Jaguar Lodge - Cuiaba

After breakfast some bird watching in the garden of the lodge, and time to go to Cuiaba city in time for your flight at airport or hotel. End of the trip.
