This scenic route takes us deeper into the Manu Amazon rainforest, offering continuous wildlife photography opportunities along the riverbanks. Day 4: Tapir Clay Lick & Macaw Clay Lick - Vibrant Amazon Parrot Photography (Spectacular Macaw Clay Lick: Manu's Parrot Paradise Photography)

Our journey continues by boat, first on the Madre de Dios River and then onto the more secluded Manu River. This day is packed with incredible wildlife photography opportunities as we navigate through untouched habitats, scanning for jaguars, caimans, capybaras, and diverse primate species along the riverbanks.

Day 7: Manu Reserved Zone - Giant Otters & Oxbow Lake Photography (Giant Otter & Amazon Wildlife Photography at Salvador Oxbow Lake)

Activities & Photo Opportunities: A highlight of our Manu National Park photography tour! We visit the iconic Salvador Oxbow Lake, a hotspot for incredible wildlife. From our silent catamaran, you'll have unparalleled photography opportunities for the magnificent Giant Otters, often seen fishing and playing. This day offers continued riverine wildlife photography opportunities, allowing you to capture any species missed on the way in. Day 9: Papaya Eco Lodge to Bamboo Lodge - Hot Springs & Cloud Forest Revisited (Relax & Photograph: Amazon Hot Springs & Cloud Forest Transition)

Activities & Photo Opportunities: Our boat journey continues upriver back towards Bamboo Lodge. En route, we'll make a refreshing stop at a natural hot spring, a perfect opportunity to relax and review your incredible Manu wildlife photos. The transition back into the cloud forest zone may offer new bird photography opportunities. We arrive at Bamboo Lodge around 5 pm.

Target Species: Opportunistic bird photography, cloud forest species.

Day 10: Bamboo Lodge to Cusco - Farewell Bird Photography (Last Chance Bird Photography & Return to Cusco)

Activities & Photo Opportunities: Enjoy a final morning of cloud forest bird photography around Bamboo Lodge, perhaps revisiting favorite spots for any elusive shots. This last session provides an excellent opportunity to capture any remaining target species or simply soak in the vibrant avian life. Afterwards, we begin our scenic return journey to Cusco, arriving around 6 pm, filled with incredible memories and stunning Manu National Park wildlife photographs.
